1. Is it easy to buy online from Moles Seeds?
Yes - simply browse or search to the product you wish to purchase, find the pack size that matches your requirement, adjust the quantity to the numbers of packs you require, then click on the 'add' button to add this item to the shopping basket. Don't forget that the larger the pack size the cheaper the seed is per unit, so it is cheaper to have 1 pack x 10grams than 2 packs x 5 grams. Once you have selected all the items you require proceed to the checkout where you will be asked to provide delivery details before being forwarded to a secure server where your credit card details will be taken. It's that easy.

2. Can I order by post?
Yes. You can go through the shopping cart process, as described above, and opt to send a cheque as your preferred payment method. We will then keep your order on file while we await your cheque (please put our order number given on the receipt page on the reverse of the cheque so we can easily match the payment with the order). Once we have received the cheque your goods will be despatched. Alternatively you can download an order form from the 'Downloads' page, complete the product details and quantities, and send a cheque with the order. All correspondence should be sent to:

4. Can I buy direct from your trade counter?
Yes. Our trade counter at our Stanway site is open for the placing and collection of orders between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. If you wish to collect more than five items or you are making a long journey, we recommend that you place your order in advance, stating when you wish to collect it, so that we can advise on stock availability and avoid any disappointment or delay. A map with directions is available from the 'Downloads' page.

5. Which payment cards do you accept?
We accept: Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo and Electron. Please note that to process card payments we require details of the address where the card is registered; please enter these as the invoice address. Please enter the card details carefully as incorrect details could delay the despatch of the order. If you have any queries about card payments please e-mail us via sales@molesseeds.co.uk.

6. Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. There is a 3% discount for payment by credit/debit card at the time of ordering online. We also offer an extra early order discount of 3% for all orders placed between the 21st September 2011 and the 30th November 2011.

7. Do your prices include VAT?
All prices quoted exclude VAT. There is currently no VAT on vegetable, herb or grass seed, along with artichokes, asparagus, fruit or horseradish, potatoes or onion sets. All flower seeds are subject to VAT.

Please note that all prices shown in Euros (€) are only a guide price based upon the currency exchange rate at the time the product status was last updated. All transactions are carried out in GBP (£) so the actual price paid may differ due to the currency rate prevalant at the time of the transaction and the payment method used.

8. Is there a minimum order value?
Yes. We have a minimum order value of £7.50 (after discounts but before VAT or carriage charges).

9. What is the login for?
You do not need to 'login' to order from this site, but if you have bought from us before, and have asked for, or been sent, online account details (username and password) then you can use 'login' to avoid entering delivery and contact details every time you order. If you have difficulty using the login details or the saved information is incorrect please let us know via sales@molesseeds.co.uk. Please note that for security purposes trade credit account transactions are disabled by default. If you have an approved trade credit account and would like to order online and pay on invoice please contact us via sales@molesseeds.co.uk so we can activate your online account.
divider
10. Can I have a trade credit account?
Yes. You can apply for a trade credit account using the form available on the 'Downloads' page.
divider
11. How do I know if the product is in stock?
If the 'add' button is shown on the page then this product is either in stock or expected shortly. If the 'sold out' button is shown then we have either sold out of this item permanently or there has been a crop failure for the current season.
divider
12. Are any of your products chemically treated?
The majority of our flower seed products are supplied untreated, while many of our vegetable seed products are available in both treated and untreated format, however it is not always possible to offer options. While we make no extra charge for treated or untreated seed when in stock we reserve the right to make an additional charge to cover the costs of any specific requirements, such as having the seed treated to order. If you have a particular request for treated or untreated seed please state this at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to make a handling charge for seed returned due to it being treated or untreated when a particular request was not made at the time of ordering.
divider
13. Do you supply graded vegetable seed?
Yes. Most vegetable seed is supplied as natural seed, except for the majority of the F1 Brassica and F1 Carrot seed which is supplied as graded seed. Popular graded items are shown within the product range. We also offer a grading service depending upon the product and quantity concerned. If you require graded seed please contact us with your requirements and we will be pleased to quote a price.
divider
14. Are your organic seeds certified?
Yes. All our organic seeds are certified by the Soil Association as being organically produced. A copy of our latest certificate is available to download from the 'Downloads' page.
divider
15. Are your products genetically modified?
No. Although many of our products are produced using the latest breeding techniques, none are gentically modified, or have been derived from genetically modified parent material. The methods used in the development and maintenance of these varieties are designed to minimise the presence of off-types, including genetically modified organisms. Due to the free movement of pollen it is not possible for open pollinated crops to be guaranteed to be free from the presence of adventitious GM material. However, Moles Seeds works closely with breeders, suppliers and the relevant Government bodies to ensure that any such risks are minimised.
divider
16. How are the products packed?
The seed is supplied in hermetically sealed foil packets, sealed plastic packs or paper sacks depending upon the product and its particular storage requirements. The product label details the product, quantity and any seed treatments. For sowing instructions please see the relevant Technical Information on this website.
divider
17. Which areas do you deliver to?
We are able to supply seeds to most parts of the world depending upon the products and the destination concerned, but because of the many variables involved with shipping seed around the globe, such as shipping charges, phytosanitory restrictions, etc., this site is configured to calculate shipping charges on orders for delivery in the UK only. If you wish to order seed for delivery outside of this area please select your requirements and place the order as destined for either 'EU member state' or Non EU memeber state' and we will be pleased to advise on any shipping charges and phytosanitory restrictions that may apply. If you are VAT registered please state your VAT number in the special delivery instructions box at the time of ordering.
divider
18. How are the products delivered and what is the cost?
Please click here for our shipping charges.
divider
19. When will the products be delivered?
At Moles Seeds we offer probably the fastest service in the industry. When an item is in stock we try to despatch the products within two working days of receiving the order, however we always recommend you order as early as possible as other factors beyond our control, such as crop failures or delivery problems, may delay the delivery of the products. Some items, such as fruit plants, are only shipped at certain times of the year so please see individual product descriptions for any special delivery restrictions.
divider
20. What do I do if I ordered the wrong product?
We can only accept seed returns as a result of incorrect ordering and only at our discretion. Products must not be returned to us without prior notification and must be in our sealed packets as supplied, and must be in a suitable box or padded envelope. All returns will be subject to a handling charge. We must be notified within 7 days of receipt. Under no circumstances can we accept returns of non-catalogue items.
divider
21. What do I do if I am not satisfied with the product?
All our products are rigorously checked to ensure they are both true to type and germinate in excess of any legal requirements. In the unlikely event that a Moles Seeds product fails to perform satisfactorily then please contact us immediately, so we can investigate the problem and take any action deemed necessary.
divider
22. Are Moles Seeds ordering and payment systems secure?
Yes. Moles Seeds use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with an encryption key length of 128-bits to collect your name, address, order and payment details.
divider
23. Will you pass my details to any third party?
