Fountains are fast becoming established as the ‘Trailing Lobelia’ for baskets, containers and window boxes. Pelleted seed is easier to sow using a mechanical seeder, or can be sown by hand directly into the packs. For best results sow onto the surface of a low nutrient compost and germinate in a humid environment of 20-23°C, ideally under fog. Moisture is essential for the pellets to break down and germinate. Each pellet contains one seed, therefore we recommend sowing more than one pellet per station.
