Good base branching habit and attractive flower spikes; used as a dot plant in bedding schemes, and produces long-lasting cut flowers. Grow as annual, biennial or perennial. Blue with deep green leaves. 70cm. Pelleted seed is easier to sow using a mechanical seeder, or can be sown by hand directly into the packs. For best results sow onto the surface of a low nutrient compost and germinate in a humid environment of 20-23°C, ideally under fog. Moisture is essential for the pellets to break down and germinate.
